Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you’ll raise the</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>organization’s overall cloud maturity and enable smarter, faster adoption of cloud-native</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>capabilities.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><b><span><span>Responsibilities:</span></span></b></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span> <ul type="disc"> <li><span><span>Design and evaluate multi-cloud architectures spanning AWS, Azure, and other commercial environments.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Develop reference implementations and integration patterns for cross-cloud networking, identity, and data flows.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Assess tradeoffs between cost, performance, compliance, and vendor lock-in to inform technical direction.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement cloud-native solutions aligned with mission needs.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Create reusable infrastructure-as-code templates (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep) to accelerate adoption.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to teams building or migrating workloads in multi-cloud ecosystems.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Document architectures and share best practices to strengthen organizational cloud fluency and consistency.</span></span></li> </ul> <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><b><span><span>Skills Requirements:</span></span></b></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span> <ul type="disc"> <li><span><span>Solid grasp of computer networking protocols and principles.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Individually motivated, self-starter, capable of understanding vague requirements and delivering novel approaches.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience architecting solutions across multiple commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Deep knowledge of native cloud services for compute, networking, identity, and storage.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, etc.).</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience with monitoring, logging, and cost management tools across multiple clouds.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Past experience working with and understanding of the CNO mission.</span></span></li> </ul> <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><b><span><span>Nice to Haves:</span></span></b></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span> <ul type="disc"> <li><span><span>Certifications across multiple providers (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect).</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience designing hybrid and federated cloud systems integrating on-prem and SaaS environments.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, etc.).</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience and interest in mentoring and training others, sharing your expertise.</span></span></li> </ul> <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><b><span><span>YOE Requirement: </span></span></b><span><span>12 yrs, B.S. or 4 additional yrs in place of B.S.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br />
