Junior Java Developer

Our flagship product, Redge Media, is the Internet TV technology platform of choice for global broadcasters and telecommunications operators such as TVN Warner Bros. Discovery, Grupa Play, TVP, Canal+, Go3 and Wirtualna Polska. Our solutions are implemented by leading players in Europe, the Middle East and South America.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the hired person will include the ongoing development of Redge Media applications. You will be actively involved in processes such as analysis of customer requirements, implementation of necessary components, delivery of changes to production, continuous improvement of platform performance. Joining our team, you will be working with people who care about the quality of the software produced! We attach great importance to the code review process and software development automation.

Requirements

— 2 years of experience in designing, implementing and maintaining Java 17+ / Spring.

— Good knowledge of HTTP protocol.

— Practical knowledge of ORM (e.g. Hibernate).

— Knowledge of basic software development tools - GIT, Gradle, Jenkins and selected IDEs.

— Knowledge of SQL databases - preferably PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

— Practical knowledge of Linux family operating systems.

— Knowledge of English at the B2 level or higher.

— Willingness to learn and develop personally.

Nice to have

— Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS).

— Practical knowledge of application containers - Tomcat, Wildfly.

— Practical experience with high system scalability challenges, GC, Java memory model.

— Knowledge of the Spanish language.
