Budget Analyst (Associate) – Juno Beach, FL (Onsite)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Budget Analyst (Associate) to join their accounting and finance team. This is a 6-month contract position based onsite in Juno Beach, Florida. You will play a key role in trade capture, risk monitoring, and financial reporting, working closely with both the finance and IT teams to support continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture trades into the SOX application and execute end-of-day recaps and reports
- Verify positions and monitor daily Value at Risk (VaR) and other risk-related measures
- Reconcile broker and external statements associated with transactions
- Provide management with daily Profit and Loss (P&L) and pricing information
- Handle Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and other clearing transactions
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects
- Assist with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
- Support the development and execution of the trade capture platform in collaboration with the IT team
- Develop ad-hoc reports using SQL and Power BI
- Create and automate Excel-based reports using macros as needed
Required Qualifications
- 0–5 years of professional experience in a budget, finance, or accounting role
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macro development
- Familiarity with SQL and Power BI for reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL (standard shift: 8 AM – 5 PM, 40 hours/week)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SOX applications or trade capture systems
- Knowledge of risk management concepts (e.g., Value at Risk)
- Background in process improvement or project support
