<strong>Yard Operative</strong> (Temp to Perm)<br>📍 Cheltenham<br>💷 Pay: £13.00 per hour<br>🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30<br>📄 Contract: Temp to Perm<br><br>Pertemps are recruiting for a<strong> Yard Operative</strong> on behalf of a well-established and growing client. This is an excellent <strong>temp-to-perm</strong> opportunity offering full-time hours and long-term job security for the right candidate. This role would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on, physically active position and is comfortable carrying out manual handling duties, picking and packing orders, and supporting the day-to-day running of the yard and warehouse operation.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>Picking and packing orders accurately for customer dispatch<br>Preparing, organising and loading orders ready for collection and delivery<br>Carrying out regular manual handling and lifting duties throughout the day<br>Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently<br>Cleaning and washing products and equipment as required<br>Inspecting items to ensure they meet quality standards before dispatch<br>Organising stock and maintaining storage areas<br>Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy yard and warehouse environment<br>Carrying out general yard and warehouse duties as required<br><br><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong><br>Reliable, punctual and hardworking<br>Comfortable with physical work, including frequent lifting and manual handling<br>Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, picking, packing or logistics environment is desirable but not essential<br>Good attention to detail and accuracy when preparing orders<br>Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as required<br>Able to work independently and as part of a team<br>Positive attitude and strong work ethic<br><br><strong>What's on Offer</strong><br>Weekly pay during the temporary period<br>Full-time hours, Monday to Friday<br>Friendly and supportive working environment<br>Opportunity to gain permanent employment<br>Long-term career opportunity with a growing business<br><br><strong>Apply Today</strong><br>Pertemps Gloucester<br>Unit 4A, Elmbridge Court<br>Cheltenham Road East<br>Gloucester, GL3 1JZ<br>🕒 Open Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00<br>📞 01452 507500
