Temporary Summer Housekeeper in UK & Overseas

On behalf of our private client, we are seeking experienced and professional temporary housekeepers for a number of exciting summer placements across the UK and overseas. These are seasonal roles ideal for candidates who are flexible, well-presented, and available for summer work - whether for a few weeks or the full season.

Our clients include private families and households based across a range of locations, from country estates and coastal properties in the UK to international residences in Europe and beyond. Each role varies in scope, but all require a high standard of housekeeping and a genuinely professional approach.

Working hours / schedule:

• Dates flexible (placements typically run between June and September)

Typical duties include:

• Maintaining all areas of the property to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning throughout the home
• Laundry, ironing, and careful handling of clothing, linens, and fabrics
• Bed-making and full linen management
• Tidying and organising household spaces
• Managing cleaning supplies and flagging when replenishment is needed
• Assisting with seasonal opening or closing of properties where required
• Supporting with light serving or household duties during entertaining, where applicable
• Working professionally alongside other household staff
• Carrying out any additional duties as reasonably requested by the principal

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced in private household housekeeping
• Well-presented, discreet, and professional at all times
• Flexible with dates, locations, and working hours
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Available for live-in placements where required
• Happy to travel for overseas placements

Salary: Competitive, depending on role and experience

Start date: summer 2026 

Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
