About the Role
This established global business, is looking to strengthen its finance function by appointing an experienced, proactive, and personable Credit Control Team Leader to support a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end credit control process, leading a small team while ensuring effective management of customer accounts, driving cash collection, overseeing cash allocation, and resolving complex account queries.
You will be a confident and driven professional with a strong understanding of credit control processes and proven experience managing and developing a team. You will oversee a busy ledger, ensuring consistent cash collection performance and adherence to KPIs. Working closely with internal departments and external customers, you will manage escalated queries across a high-volume workload, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Skills required
Previous experience in a Credit Control role, managing a customer ledger, chasing overdue payments, and resolving complex account queries.
Experience with cash allocation, account reconciliations, and reporting on team performance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
The ability to manage competing priorities, drive team performance, and consistently meet targets and deadlines.
