Senior Healthcare Support Worker Band 3 £28,051 to £30,274 pro rata Plus £1,408 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata 24 Hours per Week Permanent Post A vacancy has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant in Surgical/ Day surgery. Surgical ward consists of 18 bedded ward and Day surgery consists of a 14 bedded unit. Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well within a multi-disciplinary team. Applicants should have good communication skills; previous experience working within health or social would be desirable but not essential. Day night rotation as well as weekend working is essential for this post The successful candidate will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full time employment or up to six months for part time workers.
