We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join a growing and supportive brokerage based in Weston-super-Mare. Due to continued, steady growth, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Desk-Based Executive to take ownership of both servicing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with hybrid working available. The salary for the role is up to £45,000 depending on experience and background.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional service to commercial insurance clients, managing the full policy lifecycle while also contributing to business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound new business enquiries
- Inheriting and servicing a small existing book of business
- Growing and developing your portfolio over time
- Processing new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
- Handling general client queries and supporting with some claims
- Maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on retention
About You
We’re looking for someone who is not only experienced, but also proactive and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will ideally have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within Commercial Insurance
- Knowledge of products including Commercial Combined, Property Owners, PI, PL & EL, Motor Trade and Motor Fleet
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A proven track record in client retention
- Previous insurance sales experience
- A professional, customer-first mindset
- Cert CII (desirable)
- Experience using Acturis (advantageous)
