Job Description
Manage a shared HR and Payroll inbox, triaging and resolving high-volume queries
Lead on employee relations cases including grievances and disciplinaries
Support regional managers across multiple sites nationwide
Provide practical HR advice in a fast-paced retail/operational setting
Own HR processes end-to-end with minimal supervision
Support skilled worker visa and right-to-work compliance
Assist with payroll queries and liaise with offshore teams
Deliver HR inductions and support onboarding processes
Identify and address recurring people issues (e.g. communication gaps)
Contribute to HR projects and organisational change initiatives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior HR Advisor should have:
Proven experience in a hands-on HR Advisor or Senior HR role
Strong employee relations experience (grievances, investigations, hearings)
Confident working independently in a lean HR structure and taking ownership
Experience supporting operational, retail, or warehouse environments
Working multi-site
Comfortable managing high volumes of queries and competing priorities
Strong communicator, able to engage diverse and multilingual teams
Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Experience with visa sponsorship or compliance (desirable)
Basic payroll knowledge or exposure
CIPD qualification or equivalent experience preferred
