Job Description
- Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability.
- Communicate with various departments to align production schedules and resolve potential conflicts.
- Track production progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimise efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Generate reports and maintain accurate records related to production planning and performance.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout the scheduling process.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Scheduler should have:
- Experience in production scheduling or planning within the FMCG industry.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in production planning tools or software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- An understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling challenges.
