To ensure that bureaucracy is not an obstacle here, our International Staff Service advises our international applicants and future colleagues on issues relating to visas, residence permits, settlement permits and applying for German citizenship. Our service for you International Staff Services (ISS) supports foreign employees (international doctoral students, visiting scientists, post-doctoral researchers and newly appointed professors) and their families in planning, preparing and carrying out their stay at the DKFZ. In addition to immigration matters (visa and residence permit), our range of services includes other administrative matters, support in opening a bank account and taking out health insurance. For family members, we provide assistance with family reunification We see ourselves as a contact and service point that can put you in touch with the relevant authorities if required.
