About the Role
Our client, a boutique investment firm in Midtown, is looking to hire a ROCKSTAR Ongoing Temp Receptionist to be the first point of contact for the office. This candidate will manage the front desk's general operations and support a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be friendly, articulate, detail-oriented, polished, and capable of handling various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This role is 5x days a week in-office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing reception for the office which may include; meeting and greeting clients, scheduling messengers, arranging fed-ex package deliveries, and maintaining the conference room spaces.
Managing the conference room schedule and ordering catering for meetings.
Maintaining appearance of common areas.
Maintaining office equipment.
Backup support for the other EA's, as needed.
Oversight of all day-to-day office operations.
Coordinating vendor services for office needs which may include researching, interviewing and overseeing certain vendor services.
Coordinating timely repairs and maintenance of office space and equipment.
Assisting with the execution of office moves, space build-out and modifications.
Ensuring sufficient office supplies sand snacks are maintained.
Reviewing and approving office invoices on a timely basis.
Sort and distributes incoming mail.
Assisting with various ad-hoc projects.
REQUIREMENTS
2-3 years in a corporate, professional environment
Positive and upbeat attitude
Ability to juggle many tasks and responsibilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

8/8:30am-5/5:30pm Monday-Friday + flexibility as needed
