For our client an international company we are looking for a Linux Desktop Engineer We are looking for an experienced Linux Desktop Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our corporate Linux desktop environment based on Ubuntu/Debian. This role includes full responsibility for automation, security, and stability of Linux workstations. ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain OS images and automated deployments (PXE, FOG, MAAS) Automate desktop configuration using Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack Manage software updates and security patches Monitor, report, and ensure compliance of endpoints Handle the full lifecycle of Linux desktops Write and maintain scripts in Bash or Python Integrate Linux desktops with corporate services (AD/LDAP, DNS, DHCP) Create and maintain technical documentation RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience with Ubuntu/Debian in an enterprise environment Strong Bash and/or Python scripting skills Experience with configuration management tools Knowledge of Linux imaging and unattended installation (Preseed, Kickstart) Solid understanding of Linux security principles Experience with version control systems (Git) Familiarity with centralized endpoint management tools (e.g., Landscape, FleetDM, osquery) We offer: B2B contract with paid vacation, remote work.
