Intervention Teaching Assistant Spilsby

About the role:

Justteachers teaching agency, are currently working with a community primary school in the Spilsby area, that are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to support in KS1. The role is due to commence September 2026 and expected to last until December 2026, and will be full-time (08.30-15.30 MON-FRI.)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a primary school that welcome every student regardless of their ability and background, and promote them to be their unique self.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the main class teacher in Y1/2 and deliver small group interventions
• Assist in the delivery of specific interventions and programs tailored to students’ needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel valued and supported
• Assist with the preparation of teaching resources and classroom setup
• Monitor and track students’ progress, reporting to the class teacher

Pre-requisites:

• Two references from an education or care provider
• Experience working within the age range 2-11
• Energy, enthusiasm and vision
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Experience of providing a positive learning environment
