<p>The CAD Manager role is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing a team of CAD Designers while supporting engineering projects. This person will guide standards, improve processes, and ensure high-quality electrical design documentation, while also staying involved technically. It’s a mix of team leadership, process improvement, and day-to-day CAD support in an industrial automation environment.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities & Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and coordinate a team of up to 10 CAD Designers</li>
<li>Support electrical design work including schematics, P&IDs, and control panel layouts</li>
<li>Manage and enforce CAD standards, procedures, and best practices</li>
<li>Drive efficiency improvements, including CAD automation and quality checks</li>
<li>Oversee drawing control and data management using Autodesk Vault</li>
<li>Provide technical support and training on CAD tools and standards</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams, including CNC integration</li>
<li>10+ years of experience with <strong>AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical</strong></li>
<li>Strong experience with <strong>UL508A control panel design</strong> (required)</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams</li>
