Material Handler - Biotech Lab Experience

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Material Handler I for our client in the Biotech industry that is committed to helping patients at all stages of cancer live longer and healthier lives through their technology.    Biotech experience a plus! 6 Month Contract Payrate $26 6 Paid Holidays Essential Duties and Responsibilities: About the Role: The Material Handler I is responsible for assisting the various laboratories, fulfilling the right levels of inventory, and performing real time transactions in the ERP system.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering temperature sensitive material to labs, issuing material to work orders and other uses, ensuring that all necessary transactions are completed in the ERP system. Experience in fulfillment activities including delivery of critical reagents to labs, Kanban of plastic supplies and completing transactions in an ERP system. Experience in rapid-growth life science environment working with temperature-sensitive materials a plus Must be able to create and maintain excel skills on a need basis Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Enter Data into ERP system – Material Issuance, Transfer Orders, Inventory Transfers Perform other duties as assigned   Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma required Forklift Certification preferred, not required California Drivers License as Required Previous work experience in a lab preferred Excellent attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and be flexible with tasks and schedules Ability to work independently in a team environment     JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
