As a Senior SRE – Content Delivery Network (CDN) Infrastructure, you will be working for our client, a leading media and streaming company committed to delivering high-quality content worldwide. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance, resilience, and scalability of their CDN platforms, supporting millions of users across the globe. Your main responsibilities: Ensure the availability, resilience, and performance of all CDN platforms, including cloud services, bare-metal servers, and internet exchange points. Regularly review capacity, performance trends, and usage forecasts to support global traffic growth. Contribute to deployments and production rollouts, analyzing OTT consumption patterns across regions. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (latency, throughput, cache efficiency, error rates) and propose optimizations for service quality and cost efficiency. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement plans. Provide occasional support to DevOps teams during operational overloads. Build and maintain observability tools and pipelines for CDN platforms, focusing on scalability and standardization. Develop automation workflows and internal tools to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to CDN governance and best practices. Support major traffic events through preparation, monitoring, and post-event analysis. You're ideal for this role if you have: 4+ years of experience in SysOps, DevOps, or SRE roles, preferably within network, streaming, or cloud environments. Strong knowledge of network fundamentals: DNS, TCP, HTTP, routing (BGP), caching, proxies. Passion for automation, observability, and performance optimization. Good experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, and similar stacks. Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS Lambdas, GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Solid Unix/Linux system administration skills. Experience with CDN technologies or OTT streaming QoS topics is a strong plus. Well-organized, autonomous, analytical, and adaptable mindset. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. Fluent in English; Polish language skills are required.
