<p><strong>Senior Civil Engineer </strong></p> <p><strong>Bristol or Cardiff </strong></p> <p><strong>Up to £60,000</strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Civil Engineer</strong> to join an award-winning <strong>Civil and Structural team</strong> at a Consulting Engineers based in Bristol or Cardiff. Having a minimum of 5+ years&#8217; experience you will play a key role in the delivery of civil engineering consultancy services across a range of projects &#8211; from feasibility and planning stages through to detailed design and construction.</p> <p><strong>Key areas of expertise should include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Drainage and highway design</li> <li>Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)</li> <li>Flood Risk Assessments</li> <li>Earthworks design</li> </ul> <p>This is a hands-on technical role, where the Senior Civil Engineer will lead day-to-day project delivery and collaborate with a skilled team of engineers and technicians to ensure quality, budget, and timeline objectives are met.</p> <p><strong>In order to be considered for this Senior Civil Engineer role you will;</strong></p> <ul> <li>BEng, Meng, MSc, HND or HNC in Civil Engineering together with a minimum 4 years post qualification experience working within an engineering consultancy environment.</li> <li>Be able to produce drainage and highway drawings, design calculations, technical reports and site appraisals.</li> </ul> <p>Knowledge of UK planning procedures and relevant design codes such as Water UK Sewerage Sector Guidance, Manual for Streets, Design Manual for Roads &amp; Bridges, Local Authority Design Guidance and preparation of technical approvals.</p> <ul> <li>Working understanding of technical software including AutoCAD, Microdrainage/Flow, Causeway Live/PDS/Civil 3D and AutoTrack.</li> <li>Experience working with residential developers</li> <li>Strong written and verbal skills in English</li> <li>Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative on technical matters and provide support or mentoring to others within the team</li> <li>A full UK driving licence would be advantageous</li> </ul> <p><strong>For this Senior Civil Engineer role our client is offering;</strong></p> <ul> <li>A competitive salary</li> <li>Bonus scheme</li> <li>Pension contribution</li> <li>Generous holiday package</li> <li>Eye test</li> <li>Social events</li> <li>Career development</li> <li>Payment of subscriptions</li> <li>Employee referral scheme</li> </ul> <p>To discuss this Senior Civil Engineer role and other similar roles please get in touch with MIKAELA</p> <p><img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/TWlrYWVsYVJhYmFpb3R0aS4xNzUyMC4xMTMwOUBwZW5ndWlucmVjcnVpdG1lbnQuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif"></p>
