Due to continued business growth, this role offers genuine career development within an organisation that operates its own in-house training academy and holds Smoke Control accreditation — one of a limited number within the industry. Salary & Benefits Up to £45,000 basic salary Overtime paid at: Time & a half (after 7pm & Saturdays) Double time (Sundays) Call-out rota: £100–£120 standby fee Additional call-out payments Average £10,000 OTE - £53k to £58k average package Typical overall package: £53,000–£58,000 Company vehicle (Toyota Corolla Van) All tools and equipment supplied Aviva pension scheme Benenden Healthcare Structured onboarding and development programme Key Responsibilities Installation of fire alarm systems across commercial sites within the M25 and Home Counties Installation of containment systems including tray, trunking, basket and conduit Running and terminating fire alarm cables Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations Working independently on site once fully inducted Supporting project delivery and maintaining professional site conduct Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience installing fire alarm systems Strong understanding of BS 5839 standards Experience with containment and cabling installation Ability to interpret drawings and site plans High attention to detail and quality workmanship NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) FIA, Zeuss, or equivalent qualification Full UK Driving Licence Training & Development Investment in professional development Access to dedicated in-house training academy Structured induction process: 1-day office onboarding (including H&S training) Vehicle handover Buddy system for first 2–4 weeks until confident working independently Clear opportunities for progression within a growing business  Interview Process Initial Teams call Face-to-face interview with both Managing Directors onsite in Chatham If you are a skilled Fire Alarm Installation Engineer looking for strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and genuine long-term career development, we would like to hear from you.
