Salary - £48,050, Plus Private Healthcare, Pension and Training

My Client are one of the worlds leading Systems integration businesses with a hundreds of million pounds turnover annually. With multiple sites across the UK the progression opportunities aren’t limited with various teams as part of the function

Due to recent growth my client in Bolton are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the growing team on this new fully automated site in the North West. In The engineering team you are fully backed by the company with plenty of exposure to Engineering Projects, Installation and a clear progression structure with the business. There is talks of the site expanding further with installation of new lines so it is an exciting time to join a global business at the fore front of innovation

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer your day to day responsibilities will include

• Your days will consist of different reactive and PPM tasks provided to you by an Ipad that is provided to help keep tasks logged etc
• Working alongside colleagues on site and lone working when necessary
• Doing Daily, Weekly and monthly PPMs delegated via the Ipad ensuring that they are logged properly and signed off
• There will be an opportunity to look into the continuous improvement with the role and have a look at various projects
• Electrically you will be required to work safely, look into isolation, fault finding and swapping like for like components
• Mechanically you will be required to remove and replace components, look at pipe work working objects such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems, valves, pumps, bearings belts and more
• Working on highly automated state of the art equipment – including Automated shuttle systems, Some of the latest robotics, Various Conveyor Systems just to name a few!

The Candidate

As a Maintenance Engineer we are looking for;

• A recognised Engineering qualification
• Comfortable working Electrically and Mechanically
• Comfortable working in a fast moving environment under pressure
• Confident communicator within the team
