Harbor District Project Expanded
The Milwaukee Common Council has approved a grant to help fund the Harbor District project that could add about 80 percent more affordable apartments than previously proposed. The former Filer & Stowell complex on Becher Street will be revamped for 576 units, instead of 320 as originally planned. Construction is slated to start in early 2023 and open by mid-2024.
