Senior Accountant / Client Manager Salary: £40,000 - £55,000+ DOE Location: West Yorkshire Looking for More Than Just Another Practice Role? Our client, a well-established accountancy practice in West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practice professional looking for greater responsibility, direct client exposure, and a genuine pathway to management. The Role You will manage a varied portfolio of clients and provide high-quality accounting and tax services to owner-managed businesses. Key Responsibilities Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies Prepare corporation tax and personal tax returns Manage and develop client relationships Review work completed by junior team members Prepare and review management accounts Liaise with clients on accounting, taxation and business matters Support partners with ad-hoc projects and advisory work About You Essential Requirements ACA or ACCA Qualified (QBE candidates also considered) 3+ years' recent UK accountancy practice experience Strong accounts preparation experience across multiple business types Excellent knowledge of corporation tax, personal tax and VAT Experience managing client relationships Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office Desirable Portfolio management experience Management accounts experience Knowledge of CCH, Xero and Sage Experience reviewing junior staff work Salary & Benefits £40,000 - £55,000+ DOE Clear progression to Manager level Diverse and interesting client portfolio Ongoing professional development Supportive team environment Direct client exposure and responsibility Free on-site parking Pension scheme Generous holiday allowance Apply Now For a confidential discussion or to apply, please contact: David Hawthorne-Finch Email: d.hawthorne-finch@h-fts.com All applications and enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence.
