Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Senior Engineer - Offshore/Onshore Construction (E&I) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.
Qualification Required
The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering.
Responsibilities
supervises all electrical and instrumentation construction activities for offshore facilities, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant execution.
Lead and supervise E&I construction activities at offshore sites and onshore yards
Develop and review construction work packs, method statements, and job cards
Resolve technical queries (TQs), site queries (SQs), and interface issues
Ensure proper installation of equipment such as switchgear, transformers, MCCs, junction boxes, field instruments, analyzers, F&G systems, and control panels
Monitor contractor performance, manpower, productivity, and compliance.
Manage interfaces between E&I, mechanical, piping, structural, and commissioning teams
Lead offshore construction campaigns, hook‑up, and brownfield modification works
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight critical issues.
Support preparation of mechanical completion dossiers and handover packages.
Experience Required
Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in E&I Construction Experience in major oil & gas offshore project.
Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Construction Background.
Strong knowledge of offshore E&I systems, hazardous area installations, and commissioning
Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
Strong knowledge of offshore construction methods, mechanical systems, and safety standards.
Ability to work in challenging offshore environments and extended rotations
