Job Description
The Interim Information Governance / Data Protection Manager
- Develop and implement information governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and other legal requirements.
- Provide expert advice on information governance matters to internal stakeholders.
- Clear a back log of DPIAs
- Undertake LIAs
- Manage the ROPA as a priority
- Conduct audits to assess compliance with governance frameworks.
- Manage data breaches and oversee incident reporting processes.
- Deliver training and guidance on information governance best practices.
- Prepare reports and documentation for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and respond to changes in legislation affecting information governance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Information Governance / Data Protection Manager should have:
- Experience in information governance or data protection with extensive experience with ROPA.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR.
- Able to undertake DPIAs, LIAs and general IG advise. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

- Daily rate between £450 and £550, dependent on the level of experience.
