About the Role
I am pleased to be supporting a long-established, privately owned organisation that is undergoing a period of growth and diversification. As activity levels increase and new projects progress, the finance function requires additional support. This is a part-time, temporary position to start, working 2-3 days a week. Working closely with the CFO, your responsibilities will include:Processing and reconciling bank transactions using XeroSupporting VAT preparationDay-to-day transactional accounting duties across AP and ARAssisting with the preparation of management accounts for multiple entitiesReconciling income and cost allocationsProducing management accounts for multiple entities within XeroLiaising with auditors and responding to requests/queries Cost accounting support - tracking and analysisAssisting with budget tracking and cost control for projects Working Pattern2 to 3 days per week on a temporary basis initially.Office-based on Thursday and Friday, with flexibility for one additional day working from home Candidate ProfileExperience using Xero is essentialStrong transactional accounting background with exposure to management accountsComfortable liaising with auditors and responding to information requestsCosting or project accounting experience would be beneficialComfortable working within a small team environment Ideally you will be available at short notice and be able to start within the next couple of weeks.
