About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - CIC Team in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in care. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing support, guidance, and advocacy to vulnerable children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and their families to identify needs and develop appropriate care plans.
Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children in care.
Providing direct support and intervention to children, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with statutory requirements.
Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Registered with Social Work England.
Demonstrable experience in working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after children or child protection setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child welfare and safeguarding.
