Asset Manager

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Asset Manager to join our team in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. As an IT Asset Manager, you will provide asset full lifecycle and logistics management support for government end user resources and applications. In this role you manage end user IT assets tracking and recording asset status and location conducting regular audits and managing the customer IT asset warehouse to include receipt of delivery of equipment and dissemination to end users and sites as required.  Responsibilities include but not limited to: Manages end user IT assets to include hardware and software across the full lifecycle Maintaining accurate records of hardware, software, licenses, usage, locations, and warranties Manage customer warehouse and logistics of end user IT resources taking delivery, processing, acceptance, storing, warehouse management, and delivery of assets to support end user requirements. Managing software licenses to ensure compliance with audits and reducing security risks through proper asset tracking Analyzing asset utilization to identify opportunities for reducing procurement costs and maximizing existing investments Providing staff, stakeholders, and leadership with metrics  Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or 6+ years equivalent directly related experience 2+ years of directly related experience Preferred Qualifications: ITIL Foundation certification Experience with MS Excel Experience in a desktop support role within a government or corporate environment  Clearance Requirements:  Must be a U.S. citizen  Must be able to obtain DHS EOD suitability  Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance An active EOD suitability is highly desired.  Physical Requirements:  The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
