About the Role
<p>We are looking for a <b>Lead Consultant in HTA</b> to join our <b>Health Technology Assessment Consulting team</b> within Clarivate’s Life Sciences and Healthcare segment <b>( London Hybrid or UK Remote )</b> or <b>Canada (Toronto )</b>.</p><p>This role is a senior position within our <b>Evidence, Value and Access (EVA)</b> team, which brings together over 100 experts across HTA, HEOR, systematic reviews, and health economics. As a Lead Consultant, you will oversee large and complex healthcare consulting engagements, guiding clients through critical market access and reimbursement challenges, while leading talented multi-disciplinary teams to deliver impactful results.</p><p></p><p><b>About you – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in Life Sciences, Health Economics, or a related discipline.</p></li><li><p>10+ years of experience in healthcare or life sciences consulting, with a strong focus on HTA, HEOR, or market access.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience leading large and complex HTA projects and acting as the primary client contact.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of HTA processes, frameworks, and payer evidence requirements across major European markets.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate cost-effectiveness model results and strategic HTA recommendations to senior stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record in business development, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking activities.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior consultants.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>It would be great if you also had...</b></p><ul><li><p>A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Health Economics, Public Health, or Life Sciences).</p></li><li><p>Experience managing multi-market HTA submissions or global value dossiers.</p></li><li><p>Involvement in shaping corporate strategy or contributing to practice-wide growth initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with Clarivate’s broader service areas, such as systematic literature reviews, economic modelling, or medical writing for HTA dossiers.</p></li></ul><p><b>What you will be doing in this role</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Lead multiple HTA consulting projects</b>, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based deliverables that meet client expectations.</p></li><li><p><b>Manage large and complex engagements</b>, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and providing strategic direction throughout the project lifecycle.</p></li><li><p><b>Act as a trusted advisor</b> to clients, providing insights to support reimbursement, pricing, and market access strategies.</p></li><li><p><b>Drive business development efforts</b> by identifying opportunities, writing proposals, and participating in client presentations and industry events.</p></li><li><p><b>Mentor and coach team members</b>, fostering professional growth and sharing best practices in HTA and evidence generation.</p></li><li><p><b>Collaborate with senior leadership</b> to shape the direction of the healthcare consulting practice, including strategic planning and resource allocation.</p></li><li><p>Stay current with <b>industry trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies</b> that influence healthcare decision-making and market access.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About the Team</b></p><p>Clarivate’s Life Sciences & Healthcare consultancy delivers over $70M in annual revenue, with 300+ consultants across Europe, North America, and Asia.<br />This role sits within the Evidence, Value and Access (EVA) team, which brings together over 100 experts across HTA, HEOR, systematic reviews, and health economics , which helps clients define and execute evidence-based strategies to achieve market access and reimbursement success.</p><p>Embrace a dynamic and creative team culture that thrives on mutual support.
