Join us and bring your whole self to work! 📝Some details about your department s our Senior HR Business Partner for Italy, you will be the strategic lead for our Padova hub and a key contributor to our national growth. Reporting to the Global People & Culture Area Manager, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, serving as the local expert in talent acquisition, Italian labor compliance, and organizational development. You are not just a point of contact; you are a business driver ensuring our Italian operations are scalable, compliant, and culturally aligned with our global mission. 🎯 What we’d like you to do Lead and execute the full recruitment lifecycle for all Italian roles. You will design sourcing strategies to attract top-tier digital, data, and tech talent in the competitive Italian market. Fully own the relationship with the Consulente del Lavoro. You will oversee the monthly payroll processing, ensuring 100% accuracy in social security contributions (INPS), tax withholdings (IRPEF), and strict adherence to the CCNL Commercio/Terziario. Act as the internal authority on Italian labor regulations. Manage all employment contracts (Fixed-term, Permanent, Apprendistato), and handle delicate employee relations or disciplinary matters with local legal expertise. Localize Making Science’s global culture for the Padova office. You will lead engagement initiatives and ensure the "Making Science spirit" is felt across the Italian team. Drive the performance review cycle and identify training needs. You will facilitate learning paths in collaboration with Global L&D to keep our Italian team at the forefront of AI and digital trends. Master and optimize our People systems (SuccessFactors, SAP, and AI tools). You will be responsible for the "single source of truth" for all Italian employee data. Oversee the day-to-day functionality of the Padova office, ensuring a premium workspace environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. 🔊 What we’d like you to bring 5+ years in HR, with at least 4 years as a Senior HRBP or HR Manager in high-growth tech, digital, or multinational environments. Expert knowledge of Italian labor laws, CCNL management, and local payroll nuances. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide data-driven people solutions. Experience with Tier-1 HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors is a plus) and digital-first workflows. Bilingual English and Italian is mandatory. Spanish is a strong plus for HQ collaboration.
