Senior Credit Controller

Are you seeking an exciting business with an established product selling across the UK & overseas?   ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for – Leading the credit control process from billing through to cash collection across a multi-currency, international ledger Maintaining strong cash flow performance by actively managing outstanding balances and minimising overdue debt Carrying out key finance operations including invoicing, cash posting, allocations, and order release processes Designing and applying insight-led collection approaches to reduce risk and improve debtor days Working closely with the Financial Controller to provide visibility on performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement Contributing to system and process enhancements, particularly across ERP platforms, to support scalability Driving efficiencies through automation and continuous improvement across finance processes Managing credit insurance arrangements and advising on exposure and risk management strategies Requirements:As a Senior Credit Controller you will need – Experience managing your own ledger with a strong track record in debt collection and control Solid understanding of credit control processes and financial fundamentals High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders Confidence using finance systems and an interest in leveraging technology to improve processes Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business Benefits:As a Senior Credit Controller you will receive – A competitive salary based on experience Performance-related bonus Generous pension contribution Life assurance cover 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays Onsite parking Rutherford Briant is passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion.
