HGV/Plant Mechanic
IMH Recruitment are currently seeking experienced HGV/Plant Mechanics with vehicle and HGV driving experience to join our client based in Leicester (LE9).
Key Duties:
- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs and plant equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs
- Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure roadworthiness
- Complete relevant paperwork and job records accurately
- Drive HGVs and other vehicles as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV/Plant Mechanic
- Experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repairs
- Valid HGV licence (Class 1 or Class 2 preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- 37 hours per week
- Working hours confirmed at interview
- £23.54 per hour
- Weekly pay (via agency)
