<p><b>Van Driver / Labourer – Full-Time (Essex &amp; London Area)</b></p> <p>Are you practical, reliable, and looking for a hands-on role where every day is different?<br /> We’re looking for a <b>Van Driver / Labourer</b> to join our team, supporting specialist cleaning, restoration, and property works across a variety of residential and commercial sites.</p> <p><b>Working Hours</b></p> <ul> <li>Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)</li> <li>Occasional overtime (paid at an enhanced rate)</li> <li>Participation in on-call rota as required</li> <li>Minimum age: <b>25+</b> (insurance requirement)</li> </ul> <p><b>What We’re Looking For</b></p> <ul> <li>Reliable and hard-working team player who can also work independently</li> <li>Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic</li> <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Physically fit and comfortable working in tight or awkward spaces</li> <li>Keen to learn and develop new practical skills</li> </ul> <p><b>Requirements</b></p> <ul> <li>Full, clean UK driving licence</li> <li>Confident driving a van in the Essex and London area</li> <li>Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment safely</li> <li>Comfortable using tablets/iPads for basic reporting and documentation</li> <li>Good literacy and numeracy skills</li> <li>Basic DIY or property maintenance experience (advantageous)</li> <li>Willingness to undergo a DBS (criminal background) check</li> </ul> <p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p> <ul> <li>Driving company vans to and from sites, ensuring safe and timely transport of materials and equipment</li> <li>Assisting with strip-out, deep cleaning, and general site preparation tasks</li> <li>Setting up and maintaining specialist equipment as required</li> <li>Handling, cleaning, and storing furniture and household items</li> <li>Completing simple digital reports using mobile devices</li> <li>Communicating professionally with clients, contractors, and team members on-site</li> <li>Following all Health &amp; Safety protocols, including correct use of PPE and risk assessments</li> <li>Keeping company vehicles clean, stocked, and well-maintained</li> <li>Attending training sessions (in-house and external) as needed</li> </ul> <p><b>What We Offer</b></p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay with regular reviews and opportunities for progression</li> <li>Overtime pay and pension scheme</li> <li>Free on-site parking</li> <li>Full training provided, including industry-recognized qualifications</li> <li>A supportive and welcoming team environment</li> </ul>
