You’ve already led security operations in a fast-paced environment (ideally an MSP/MSSP) and thrive on guiding teams and developing capabilities that keep pace with ever-evolving threats. Here’s what you’ll likely bring to the table: Strong Cybersecurity / SOC skills, with experience in a leadership role Strong technical knowledge across SIEM, EDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS, firewalls & cloud security Hands-on incident response and threat intelligence experience Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO27001, and the cyber kill chain Experience managing operations for multiple clients in a multi-tenant SOC Confidence engaging with C-suite stakeholders and leading major incidents A passion for team leadership, mentoring and continuous improvement If you’ve supported sales/pre-sales teams or led SOC demos for clients, that’s a big plus - but not a dealbreaker.
