Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in both rough and finish carpentry, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, and can work independently or as part of a crew. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency on the job site.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, plywood, drywall, and other materials

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate execution

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision using hand tools and power tools

• Perform framing, trim work, door/window installation, and other carpentry tasks as required

• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors, and team members to complete projects on schedule

• Identify and resolve issues on-site with minimal supervision

• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction

• Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform layout work

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

• Good physical condition with the ability to lift, carry, and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold)

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team

• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship or trade school training preferred

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with both residential and commercial projects

• Ability to lead or mentor junior carpenters

• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

• Ownership of personal tools
