About the role:

A welcoming school in Clitheroe is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENDCO to lead and develop SEND provision across the school. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring every pupil receives the support they need to succeed.

• Location: Clitheroe
• Start date: September
• Hours: Full-time
• Role: SENDCO – Long-term

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SEND provision throughout the school
• Coordinate EHCPs, reviews, and interventions
• Support staff with inclusive teaching strategies
• Liaise with external agencies and parents
• Monitor progress of pupils with SEND
• Ensure compliance with SEND legislation

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• SENDCO qualification or willingness to work towards it
• Strong SEND knowledge and leadership skills
• Two education-based references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
