About the Role
For the DACH region, SIVO is looking for a Sales Manager to take over responsibilities currently covered by the Sales Director EMEA. You will manage the regional customer portfolio, develop new business opportunities and represent SIVO in one of the most competitive and strategically important markets in pet care.
You will collaborate with major retailers such as Fressnapf, Rewe, Edeka, Lidl, and Kaufland. Understanding the category, the competitive landscape and the product's technical strengths will be crucial for success. SIVO's biggest market advantage is their fully integrated structure - controlling every step from raw material extraction to product quality and packaging.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and grow customer relationships within the DACH region.
Prepare and deliver customer presentations, offers and pricing negotiations.
Analyse market, product and customer data (including Nielsen) to drive commercial decisions.
Coordinate product tests, launches and packaging matters with Quality, Product Management and Customer Service.
Identify market developments and competitor activity.
Develop growth within private label as well as own brands.
Conduct regular customer visits and store checks to stay close to market dynamics.
Profiel
You are an experienced commercial professional with a background in private label and / or retail within FMCG. Experience in categories with similar supply chain setups could be a strong match. You enjoy working in an international, entrepreneurial setting where initiative is valued.
You bring:
Experience managing retail accounts and private‑label business in FMCG.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to translate data into clear decisions.
Fluency in German and English.
A practical, energetic and solutions‑oriented mindset.
Ability to work closely with technical and operational teams.
Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
