Electrical Maintenance Engineer Houston, TX area A global chemical company needs a multi-talented Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Key experience/background: Experience in Operations Support, Turnarounds, Mentoring/Training in active chemical/refining/petrochemical operations Power Distribution - medium voltage - all aspects Extensive work with reliability with electrical/instrumentation systems Appropriate 4-year engineering degree Responsibilities Multi-expertise position: Operations support Turnarounds/Projects Reliability engineering in-operation (RCFA, uptime optimization, etc) Mentorship and training "Classic" electrical reliability engineering work from power drop through distribution, switchgear, etc - Medium to high voltage In-plant reliability (RCFA, uptime, incident reports, monitoring of E & I systems, etc) Fully involved with Turnarounds (TAR) and other projects Lead troublshooting efforts Mentoring junior engineers and cross - training personnel Integration with site safety program Required: BS in electrical engineering, electrical engineering tech, other engineering 5+ years of directly applicable experience in plants Extensive experience in electrical safety Experience in power distribution and DCS system maintenance Personable - you'll be part of a small team Will and able to work in and around operating and energized equipment in all potentially adverse conditions Must be able to work in the U.S. without requiring a visa/sponsorship now or in the future. Salary at/over $150,000 - $165,000 plus bonus
