EYFS Teaching Assistant - Longton

About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a EYFS Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a Nursery school in the Longton area on a Part time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

A caring and child-centred nursery that provides a warm, safe and stimulating environment for young children to learn, play and develop. The dedicated team is passionate about supporting every child’s early years journey.

• Support babies with daily care routines
• Assist with feeding and meal times
• Encourage early learning through play
• Create a safe and nurturing environment
• Support children’s social development
• Observe and record developmental milestones
• Help plan engaging age-appropriate activities
• Build positive relationships with parents
• Maintain hygiene and safeguarding standards
• Work closely with the nursery team

Pre-requisites:

• Previous UK nursery experience
• Knowledge of EYFS framework
• Strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service preferred
