About the Role

HR Business Partner An established, award-winning care provider is seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join its People Team. Operating multiple residential care homes across the East of England, the organisation is recognised for delivering exceptional standards of care while investing heavily in the wellbeing and development of its employees. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who enjoys partnering closely with operational leaders, managing complex employee relations matters, and driving people-focused initiatives that positively impact both employee engagement and organisational performance. The Role Reporting into the senior leadership team, the HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to managers across multiple locations, providing practical, commercially focused HR support and guidance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational excellence, ensuring best practice people management, mitigating risk, and contributing to strategic people projects that enhance organisational effectiveness and employee experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues.
  • Partner with operational leaders to deliver effective people solutions that support business objectives.
  • Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership capability and confidence in handling people matters.
  • Lead and support HR projects aligned to the wider People Strategy, including engagement, talent development and organisational change initiatives.
  • Ensure the consistent application of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation across all sites.
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing and organisational development initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve people practices and drive continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will be a confident and credible HR professional with strong employment law expertise and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.

Essential Requirements

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a senior HR Advisory, HR Business Partner or HR Generalist position.
  • Strong experience managing complex employee relations matters from start to finish.
  • Up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a practical and commercial mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and resilient in challenging situations.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the health, care, social care or regulated sectors.
  • Previous experience supporting multi-site operations.

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly across multiple sites within the region.
