Do you get a sense of satisfaction seeing drastic before-and-after improvements? Surface Experts Repair and Resurface technician might be the job for you! No two jobs are the same and most repairs require creativity.
We are a national franchise and are in the process of growing our Metro Detroit team. We are looking for a person to fill our Refinishing/Resurface Technician role. Both men and women make great Surface Experts techs, but there are a few requirements that help us determine whether someone will have the skill set to be able to learn quickly.
Requirements:
Experience in working with your hands, whether that’s in construction, manufacturing, painting or even a craft or hobby.
Experience with mixing/matching paint - the use of paint sprayers/equipment is helpful.
Having experience working in facilities maintenance can be very helpful, but not a deal breaker.
Must be able to see, distinguish, and replicate colors – A familiarity with color and color matching is integral to our process.
The training process is extensive so we are only interested in hiring someone who can make at least a 2-year commitment.

Bathtub/Shower/Countertop- Refinish/Resurface/Repair Technician:
We are looking for someone who has experience with a variety of repair, maintenance and custom paint materials. Experience can include refinishing, repairing, installing, resurfacing bathtubs, showers and countertops in a commercial and/or residential setting. A candidate can have experience working with paints, spray equipment, laminate countertops, ceramic, fiberglass and metal tubs and showers. Ideally, someone who just has a good and attitude and work ethic - we can teach you practically anything.
