Planning & Fulfilment Administrator
Bridlington, East Yorkshire
Full Time, Monday to Friday

A well-established manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Planning & Fulfilment Administrator to support its planning, scheduling and customer fulfilment activity.
This role sits within the operations function and plays an important part in ensuring customer orders move efficiently through the business, from order processing through to dispatch.
The successful candidate will work closely with planning, operations, sales and customers, helping to maintain strong service levels while ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and takes pride in delivering excellent service and attention to detail.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day administrative support to the planning and fulfilment team, helping to coordinate customer orders, maintain accurate records and support the smooth flow of products through production and dispatch.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing customer orders and ensuring delivery dates align with production schedules
Coordinating dispatch activity and issuing shipping documentation
Preparing and distributing dispatch and fulfilment reports
Maintaining customer order trackers and supporting regular customer updates
Monitoring orders and communicating any delays or shortages
Supporting export shipments by preparing commercial invoices and documentation
Managing customer queries and ensuring a high standard of service
Processing credit notes and supporting order amendments where required
Maintaining accurate system records and documentation
Working closely with internal teams to ensure orders progress smoothly through the business
You may also support wider projects focused on improving processes and streamlining administrative tasks across the fulfilment function.
About You
This role requires someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable managing a varied workload within a busy operational environment.
You will ideally bring:
Previous experience within an administration, customer service or supply chain role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner
The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
Good IT skills and confidence using business systems
A proactive, positive approach with a strong sense of ownership
Experience within manufacturing, planning, logistics or supply chain environments would be advantageous.
