A PE backed business going through transformation is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager/Controller with strong finance and business process improvement skills.

Our Client:
Our client is seeking a confident, outgoing finance professional experienced in process improvement and standards compliance, comfortable working independently on a defined project and able to hit the ground running.
The Role:
- Review and evaluate existing finance processes and systems, identifying inefficiencies, duplication and provide overview of current-state with recommendations for DOF (Director of Finance).
- Document and write up key SOP’s for core finance processes in assistance with Finance controller and Financial Accountant.
- Lead a full accounting standards compliance review, with reference to the Group's investment model and reporting requirements, documenting gaps and recommendations.
- Cross-check revenue recognition with FC and FBP to confirm treatment is correct and standards-compliant.
- Build and maintain payroll vs budget reporting. Review Payroll authorisation and journal posting and suggest recommendations for automation and improvement.
- Own facilities and lease reporting, includes migration of operating leases onto the Balance Sheet under IFRS 16.
- Review bad and aged debt reporting (collection activity owned by customer care) and provide recommendations for improvement and key KPI drivers for board and SLT reporting.
About You:
- Qualified Accountant.
- Strong business process improvement skills.
- Strong technical ability - Financial Accounting and IFRS experience.
- Process documentation skills.
- Experience of working within change and transformation environments.
