About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an Maths Teacher who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence from September 2026

A large and well‑established further‑education setting known for its strong vocational pathways and modern facilities. The environment is fast‑paced, supportive and focused on helping learners progress into employment or higher study. Staff work collaboratively, with a clear emphasis on high‑quality teaching and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Teaching Maths curriculum across KS3 and KS4
•  Preparing pupils for GCSE assessments
•  Tracking attainment and adapting teaching
•  Delivering differentiated tasks for mixed abilities

Pre-requisites:

•  UK Maths curriculum KS3–KS5
•  Strong numeracy expertise for teaching complex topics
•  Assessment proficiency using UK exam boards
•  Classroom differentiation for varied abilities
