OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Power BI Consultant to support dashboard development and reporting needs for a business-critical payroll and claims reconciliation initiative. This consultant will build dashboards that pull data from multiple sources and present clear, actionable insights to business and leadership teams.Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Pull and transform data from Oracle databases, Excel files, and flat files.
• Create visual dashboards showing payroll, claims, and discrepancy data.
• Build charts, graphs, alerts, and reporting views for business users.
• Identify and display discrepancies between claims data and payroll data.
• Partner with business users, payroll teams, and technical teams to gather requirements.
• Present dashboard results and updates to leadership.
• Ensure dashboards are accurate, user-friendly, and easy to interpret.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Power BI dashboard development experience.
• Experience connecting Power BI to Oracle databases.
• Experience working with Excel and flat file data sources.
• Strong data visualization and reporting skills.
• Ability to build executive-facing dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Payroll, claims, HR, or UKG data experience.
• Experience building alerts or exception reporting.
• Experience supporting leadership-facing reporting.

Work Environment

• 100% remote.
• Must be able to work Central Time Zone hours.
• Initial 3-month consulting engagement with possible extensions.
