<p>Job Description:<br /> Proactive Staff are looking for a skilled CNC Fabricator to join a well-established, expanding client in the Nottingham area. This hands-on role involves setting and operating machinery, preparing jobs, and ensuring high-quality production of metal components in line with engineering drawings.<br /> You will also play a key role in maintaining equipment, managing materials, and supporting the wider production process, including welding and mechanical fitting where required.<br /> • Set and operate CNC machines (including Trumpf TruPunch 1000 with SheetMaster Compact and Press Brakes 3100 &amp; 3066)<br /> • Fold and cut parts in line with engineering drawings<br /> • Carry out MIG welding of mild steel components to specification<br /> • Perform basic Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) such as cleaning, sharpening, and minor repairs<br /> • Manage stock and materials (sheet metal, pallets, consumables)<br /> • Control goods-in processes, checking deliveries for quality and accuracy<br /> • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment<br /> • Support additional production duties, including mechanical fitting where required</p> <p>Skills &amp; Experience<br /> • Experience setting and running CNC punching machines and press brakes<br /> • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering drawings<br /> • MIG welding experience (mild steel)<br /> • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality<br /> • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team<br /> • Good understanding of health and safety practices<br /> • Experience operating folding machines (desirable)<br /> • Forklift licence (desirable) </p> <p>How to Apply<br /> If you’re a motivated CNC Operator / Fabricator looking to join a supportive and growing team, we’d love to hear from you.</p> <p>Please click apply, submit your CV, or get in touch asap for a confidential call.
