About the Role
Land Coordinator Role Overview The Land Coordinator acts as the central point of contact for all land‑related matters within the Integrated Project Team (IPT). The role provides coordination, guidance, and escalation, ensuring the correct subject matter experts are engaged and that issues are progressed efficiently through the appropriate governance routes. The position operates as a “guiding mind”, maintaining oversight of land issues rather than delivering detailed technical solutions, and escalating matters to Land & Property (L&P) management or Land Boards where required. Key ResponsibilitiesFirst point of contact for the IPT on all land mattersCoordinate land‑related issues across subject matter experts, PMs, and contractorsEscalate issues to L&P management and Land Boards as requiredSupport activities including land acquisition, access, handback, disposal, complaints, utilities issues, accommodation works, and drainageManage land outside of limits (LOL) requests, Notice to Treat, and Notice of Entry mattersInterface with contractor land teams, ALOs, utilities, and authoritiesAct as the key land contact for L&P (including Property Management)Identify land‑related risks and support assurance processesAttend weekly FLAB meetings and provide assurance on CLR and ULR requestsData, Systems & GovernanceCoordinate weekly and monthly transmission of land data for notices, GIS, and CEMARSupport business improvement initiatives relating to land and propertyEnsure consistent approaches across Area North by liaising with Central and South Land CoordinatorsArea North Completion SupportSupport L&P with coordination relating to Notices of Entry on Notice to Treat landAssist with Schedule 16 land handback planning (200 Land Acquisition Areas)Review fencing, access, and utility requirements at IDR stageSupport land transition and handover activities across the programmeRole ContextArea‑wide role covering all Area North contracts (MWCC, stations)High‑volume, multi‑disciplinary coordination roleFocused on connection, oversight, and escalation rather than detailed delivery The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
