Performance Manager – Highways Home » Highways » Performance Manager – Highways Salary: £45000 - £55000 Location: Midlands Region: Midlands We are currently seeking an experienced Performance Manager to work with a leading main contractor based in the Midlands. Our client works across the UK specialising within the Civil/Highway engineering sectors with a primary focus of Highways related projects. The Performance Manager is responsible for developing strategy for and managing the performance of the Highways England schemes awarded to my client as a supplier on the Collaborative Delivery Framework and other Highways England Major projects. Suppliers’ performance is assessed on a project-by-project basis through Highways England’s Collaborative Performance Framework (CPF) toolkit. You will be responsible for developing and implementing performance management tools in relation to CPF. Policy, aiming to raise performance levels through improvement. You will update and improve strategy and management tools as required to reflect changing expectations of Highways England, developments in the business, and taking account of feedback from implementation by project teams. This role has significant importance to the business in reducing risk, supporting capability to win and undertake future commissions and demonstrating that the company is a leading supplier within the Highway England project community. The role requires some UK wide travel, working closely with scheme Project Managers with the submission of their quarterly CPF performance (KPI) data. Responsibilities: Obtaining data on performance, by compiling and analysing CPF scores from all CDF projects. Reporting project performance to the highways business operational management via the CDF leadership team. Liaison with Highways England CPF team and the CDF community to maintain awareness of forthcoming change, to be a focus for feeding back company views and experience to Highways England. Managing, influencing and motivating project teams to achieve the required scores and to improve performance   Experience required: Experience of performance management and continuous improvement Experience in supporting project management of nationally significant infrastructure projects An inquisitive ambition to seek and embed performance improvements through process, management and delivery Benefits: Competitive salary plus company car or car allowance, pension and health care.
