In this role, you will:
- Develop test cases, execute testing, and maintain accurate records of issues / defects
- Collaborate with the team to complete testing activities within established timeframes and in alignment with established testing processes
- Research and identify root causes of issues, in partnership with the technical team
- Complete testing and close assigned tasks in internal systems
- Ensure environments and test data are appropriate
Your experience should include the following:
- Professional experience in a Quality Analyst role, preferably working with software engineering teams to build cloud-based software applications
- Practical experience testing web-based software applications
- Practical experience with testing tools, such as Playwright for API testing
- Knowledge of databases
- Ability to clarify requirements to then partner with software engineering teams on delivery of solutions within committed timelines
- Proven experience reviewing and analyzing logs to validate functionality and/or to identify and address potential defects with software engineering teams
- Foundational understanding of agile software development practices and experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
