ENGINEERING PROJECT LEAD

Position for an experienced project engineer to set the technical agenda for a heavy engineering specialist, in a fully autonomous role focused on defining & delivering high value turnkey projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills & experience as you play a genuine role in the continued growth of an industry leader, with direct progression opportunities into senior management. Experience from the heavy engineering, automotive, aggregates, building materials, or similar industries will be considered for this role. The company themselves are a market leader within the heavy engineering sector and are recognised as the best in practice in one of the UK’s fastest growing & sustainable industries. Due to continued growth, they are currently looking for a Engineering Project Lead to join their team as they expand their operations across the West Midlands / UK. In this position you will be responsible for the definition, clarification, installation & commissioning of major projects across multi sites in the UK. You will also be responsible for the coaching, mentoring & development of project engineers within the business. Employment Type: Permanent APPLY NOW POSITION £60,000 - £65,000 + 5k Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits Identify & deliver numerous projects from concept through to handover Focus on turnkey solutions – buildings & plant Responsible for the internal development of project engineers Direct succession planning into senior management PERSON Heavy Engineering, Automotive, or similar background considered Proven track record of defining & delivering plant solutions Ability to manage suppliers & contractors Previous stakeholder / people management experience CAD / CDM experience desirable but by no means essential
