About the Role

A leading healthcare network in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan is thrilled to announce the expansion of its neurology service line in collaboration with a renowned academic medical center. This expansion enhances access to cutting-edge neurological care through a partnership with a newly renovated academic hospital offering comprehensive outpatient neurology and neurosurgery services in a state-of-the-art Neuroscience Center. The Chairman of Neurology is seeking a neurohospitalist, epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology fellowship trained neurologist, as well as pediatric neurologists to join his collegial team. <br><br>Hospital Highlights: <br>• 794-bed facility, the largest acute care hospital in the region<br>• Region’s first certified stroke center<br>• 10+ consecutive years of the Get with the Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus Award from the American Heart Association & American Stroke Association<br>• Recognized among Healthgrades’ 100 Best Hospitals in America<br>• H1B Vis Support Available <br><br>Neurohospitalist Highlights:<br>•7on/7off schedule <br>•Consultative service only <br>•Shared night call during on weeks (every other night) <br>•Faculty appointment <br>•Practice in a brand-new, state-of-the-art inpatient facility<br><br>Epilepsy Highlights:<br>• Those with epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology fellowship training are encouraged to apply<br>• Tele-neurology and outpatient clinical opportunities available<br>• Favorable call schedule with teaching inpatient services staffed by residents and medical students<br>• Practice in a brand-new, state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient facility<br>• EEG Service: On-call 24/7 for 7-day rotations, with a 1 in 6 call schedule<br>• Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM) Reading: Opportunity to interpret IOM studies 1-2 days per week<br>• General Neurology Inpatient Service: 4-8 weeks per year as either primary or consult service, with night call every other night during those weeks<br>• Outpatient Clinic: 6-8 half-day sessions per week<br>• Resident Outpatient Continuity Clinic Staffing: 6-8 days per year providing mentorship and supervision<br><br>Child Neurology Highlights:<br>• M-F Schedule<br>• 1:3 Call schedule<br>• 3-4 Exam rooms per provider<br>• Faculty appointment available<br>• Those with interest in epilepsy are encouraged to apply <br>• Teaching opportunity<br>• Employment through multi-specialist group<br>• Competitive compensation and benefits
